Juliet has been a journalist for more than 35 years, working between Australia and the UK for magazines, newspapers, TV and radio as a writer, editor and commentator. She is also a non-fiction author, currently writing the authorised biography of Dame Quentin Bryce, Australia’s first female Governor-General and former Sex Discrimination Commissioner. Previous books include The Writing on the Wall, an investigation into what happened to her father’s family in the Holocaust, Rising Heart, the memoir of Aminata Conteh-Biger, a refugee from Sierra Leone, and The Royals in Australia, a behind the scenes investigation into 150 years of royal visits.
